Artist in Residence Tainan National University of the Arts, Tainan, Taiwan
I was honored to be invited to the Tainan National University of the Arts (TNNUA) ceramics program as a Artist in Residence during the fall of 2004. The university program is headed by Ching-Yuan Chang and have remarkable studios in the countryside of Tainan, Taiwan.

While there, I was amazed by the heavily populated and industrialized coastline contrasting the beautiful, steep mountains that have remained unmarked. This push and pull of man verses nature had a great effect on my work while I was there.
